A Gallatin resident, 36-year-old Salvador Hernandez was charged Wednesday with three felony counts: sodomy in the first degree, kidnapping in the second degree, and assault in the third degree. Online information indicates bond was denied by the court.

A probable cause statement obtained by the media accuses “Sal” Hernandez in having deviate sexual intercourse with a confidential victim, who was incapacitated at the time and incapable of giving consent.  The victim also reportedly was restrained and due to the victim’s altered state and physical injuries, the individual was transported from the scene by an ambulance and treated at a hospital.
