The Friends of the Jewett-Norris Library will recognize what the organization has accomplished in the past year during its Appreciation Dinner Friday, which starts at 6 o’clock that evening.
In an Open Line interview on KTTN, Cathie Smith with the Friends of the Library said Phil Schlarb with the Grundy County Museum in Trenton will present a program about the Smithsonian exhibit on local and national sports that will be displayed at Museum this year.
Smith noted Washington Street Food and Drink Company will cater the meal. Reservations will be accepted through Tuesday and cost $15.
Smith said anyone interested in attending should contact her or the Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library to register for the Friends of the Library Appreciation Dinner.
