The annual Freedom Festival will be held at Simpson Park in Chillicothe Saturday beginning around 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
Organizer Carl McBee tells that Point of No Return will perform at 5 o’clock, and the Dustin Thomas Band will perform at 7 o’clock.
McBee says there will be several food vendors and fireworks and that the event is free to the public.
The Freedom Festival will start immediately after the Grillin’ and Chillin’ Barbecue Contest, which will also be held in Simpson Park Friday and Saturday.
