Officers for the Foundation Trust for Trenton High School, Inc.  were re-elected at the annual meeting of the Board on Sunday afternoon following a very successful Alumni Weekend.

Elected to serve another term were Dr. John Holcomb – President, Steve Muff – Vice President, Steve Maxey – Secretary and Becky Allnutt Cochran – Treasurer.

Board members heard reports on each of the weekend’s activities sponsored by the Foundation and Alumni Association as well as updates by Superintendent Dan Wiebers on improvements to the campuses of THS, TMS, and Rissler Elementary School.

A financial report was given on the C. F. Russell Artificial Turf Project reflecting over $372,000 in pledges and cash raised to date.

In other board action, members voted to increase alumni dues to $15.00 per person to help defray costs of the publication and mailing of the Alumni newsletter,  funding to support both the Friday night and Saturday morning Open Houses and the Sunday Brunch.  In addition, dollars raised through dues support project requests from the Trenton R-9 School District to support physical needs of all three campuses not met for existing school budgets.  The increase comes for the first time in over 25 years raising dues from $10.00 to $15.00 and will go into effect beginning in 2017.

Thanks were given to the Class of 1991 for their leadership with this year’s reunion planning and next year’s 25th-year class reunion will be chaired by Brandon Spencer on behalf of the THS Class of 1992.
