Former Winston teacher accused of child molestation bound over to Division One

A former Winston High School teacher and coach had felony charges bound over to Division One of Daviess County Circuit Court this week.

Alfred Brian Sprouse of Gallatin has been charged with four counts of fourth-degree child molestation—child less than 17 years of age and offender greater than four years older and one count each of sexual contact with a student and third-degree assault. Daviess County Circuit Clerk Pam Howard reports he is scheduled for arraignment March 11th on those charges.

Sprouse also faces one misdemeanor count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of fourth-degree assault. The case for the misdemeanors was continued to March 3rd in the Associate Division of Daviess County Circuit Court.
