Trenton Municipal Utilities will continue to flush fire hydrants next week.
Work will begin in the area located north of 17th Street between the railroad tracks and Highway 65 Monday through Friday from 7:30 in the morning to 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Customers can expect some discolored water and air in their house services and are advised to use caution when doing laundry. It may be necessary to run the tap water until it is clear and not do laundry until the water clears.
Annual system flushing is required and the testing of the fire hydrants helps to update fire protection records.
