Students and their families can receive free help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at a FAFSA Frenzy event on November 15th and 16th at North Central Missouri College.

Financial aid professionals will be available to assist families with filling out the 2017–2018 financial aid application. Completing the FAFSA is the first step in applying for federal financial aid and most state financial aid.

Students attending a FAFSA Frenzy event can enter for a chance to win one of sixteen $500 scholarships for the 2017 fall term at a Missouri college, university or other postsecondary education institution.

2016 marks the 14th year Missouri has offered the FAFSA Frenzy program. Since 2004, FAFSA Frenzy events have provided assistance to more than 16,000 Missouri students. FAFSA Frenzy, a program of College Goal Sunday SM, is offered in Missouri through partnerships between the Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE), the Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP), the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA), and the National College Access Network (NCAN).

NCMC’s FAFSA Frenzy will be held on Tuesday, November 15th from 4:00 to 6:30 PM and Wednesday, November 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on the North Central Missouri College campus near downtown Trenton. It will be in the Alexander Student Center both days. All students are encouraged to participate regardless of which Missouri college they plan to attend. Ashlea Buntin, Associate Director of Financial Aid, can be contacted for more information at 660-359-3948 ext. 1417 or [email protected].
