Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce is promoting entries for Missouri Day Festival contests.
Entries are due to the chamber by 5 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, October 16th for the yard and porch decorating contest as well as the window decorating contest. Entries for the pumpkin decorating contest are due Thursday, October 18th between 3 and 6 o’clock at the Trenton Rock Barn area.
Award winners of the contests receive cash prizes and will be announced during the Missouri Day festival opening ceremonies Thursday night. The opening day ceremonies will be at the 1st Baptist Church in Trenton at 7 o’clock.
Friday night in Trenton, one of the activities is a country music show and dance at the North 65 Center. The Silverado Band will perform from 7 until 10 o’clock.
Admission is $8.00 per person with doors opening at 6 o’clock. The North 65 Center will have a snack bar and door prizes.
