Drug arrests made in Clinton and Daviess Counties in past 24 hours

Authorities in Clinton County have taken 22-year Tesia K. Speaks of Queen City, Missouri into custody in an arrest from early this (Thursday) morning.  

The Highway Patrol reports that Ms. Speaks is facing preliminary charges of felony possession of a controlled substance (identified as methamphetamine), felony unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ms. Speaks was taken to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, on a hold of 24 hours.

A second drug-related arrest from the past 24 hours is being reported from Daviess County, where 27-year old Shawn P. Brown of West Des Moines, Iowa was taken into custody late last (Wednesday) night, on charges of driving while intoxicated while on drugs, possession of marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence. 

Brown was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail in Pattonsburg on a 24-hour hold.
