A Chicago man was hurt Sunday morning when the car he was driving overturned off Highway 36 east of Chillicothe.

Twenty-five-year-old Posung Huang of Chicago refused medical treatment at the scene but later was taken by a trooper to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe with minor injuries.

The accident happened six miles east of Chillicothe on Highway 36 as the westbound car began to skid when it made a lane change into the passing lane. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, into the median, and overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its top in the median.

Damage to the car was listed as moderate and Huang was wearing a seat belt.
