(St. Joseph News Press) – Kevin M. Clark, 34, remained in the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail on Wednesday evening after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase Tuesday.

Clark faces a long lists of charges after that chase and rollover crash, which ended on U.S. Highway 36 just east of St. Joseph.

Charges include: failure to drive in a single lane; no insurance; running from state troopers at 130 mph in a 65 mph zone; driving while under the influence of drugs; possession of drug paraphernalia; and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Clark’s silver Honda hit spike strips the Missouri State Highway Patrol deployed around noon Tuesday. The driver eventually lost control, went into the median, hit a guardrail and went airborne, with the car landing on its top. Police said Clark walked away from the crash with only minor injuries.

Clark also had an outstanding Buchanan County warrant for felony assault. No court date has been set.
