The annual Darin Bryan 5 and 10 kilometer walk or run is Monday morning (Memorial Day) at Simpson Park in Chillicothe. Proceeds will be used to send area athletes to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership camp this summer.
Athletes from several area communities (Trenton, Chillicothe, Brookfield, Marceline, Meadville, Tina, Avalon, Carrollton, and Marshall) have attended past events.
Two categories of running have been added to Monday’s schedule, to allow for both younger and older participants to win prizes.
The 16th annual Darin Bryan 5K/10K walk or run begins Monday morning at 7:30 at Simpson Park. Pre-registration can be done by contacting Todd Mathew, the Area Director of the Chillicothe-based North Missouri FCA.
