GRM Networks reports an AT&T fiber cut south of King City is impacting calls out of GRM’s Bethany switch and affecting 911 calls in the area.

The 911 calls are being rerouted, but GRM notes callers should be prepared to provide their addresses as that information will not be available at this time.

Incoming AT&T long-distance calls are also said to be affected by the fiber cut as well as customers in the GRM area with AT&T or MCI long distance. AT&T cell phone numbers that can normally be called as a local number may possibly be reached by dialing long distance.

Repairs on the fiber cut are estimated to be complete 10 o’clock to midnight Thursday night.
