Conception resident demolishes vehicle in Nodaway County crash

A resident of Conception was injured in a rollover Tuesday afternoon in Nodaway County.

Forty-nine-year-old Christi Bradshaw received serious injuries and was transported to Mosiac Life Care of St. Joseph.

A sports utility vehicle was southbound on Highway 136 when it traveled off the west side of the road, became airborne over a drainage ditch, and struck an embankment. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its passenger side in the ditch.

The vehicle was demolished in the accident two miles to the south of Ravenwood. It was unknown whether the driver was using a seat belt.

Assistance was provided by Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department, plus the Ravenwood and Maryville Fire Departments.
