Tonight’s (Monday, March 16, 2020) Town Hall meeting in Chillicothe has been canceled.
The city clerks office cited the announcement from the Governor’s office to limit those attending public gatherings out of concern for the coronavirus.
The city of Chillicothe will still be voting on a city sales tax proposal on April 7th to benefit the Chillicothe police department. The clerk’s office referred to the City of Chillicothe’s Facebook page for detailed information on the sales tax proposal.
Chillicothe schools have canceled classes for a minimum of three weeks as a precautionary measure due to the Coronavirus. The anticipated return date is APRIL 6TH for Chillicothe schools.
