A Chillicothe teen was injured Friday afternoon when the pickup truck he was driving overturned on a county road west of Chillicothe.
Sixteen-year-old Brendon Nelson was transported by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The accident happened two miles west of Chillicothe on Livingston County Road 236 when the eastbound pickup went out of control on a curve and traveled off the right side of the road. The driver over-corrected with the pickup returning to the road and overturning coming to rest on its wheels.
The vehicle was demolished and the patrol reports Nelson was wearing a seatbelt.
