Chillicothe rider strikes deer on motorcycle

Motorcycle Accident

The operator of a motorcycle was injured last night in an accident with a deer nearly three miles south of Utica.

The highway patrol described injuries as serious for 52 year old Dennis Evans of Chillicothe. He was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

The state patrol said the motorcycle was southbound on LIV Road 419 when it struck a deer in the road. Damage was minor for the motorcycle. Evans was using a safety device.
