The Chillicothe R-2 School District, community volunteers, and the Department of Health and Senior Services will provide free meals during the COVID-19 closure. The current day’s lunch and next day’s breakfast will be served to any person 18 years old or younger in the Chillicothe School District weekdays starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, and continuing through April 3rd.
Meals may be picked up at the Chillicothe Middle School or Field Elementary School, or they can be delivered to several locations in the community for those without transportation.
Those wanting to request a district-provided meal can follow a link on the CHS Hornets Facebook page and fill out a form. Updates and more information are to be provided on the district website and through text alerts.
