Chillicothe Police Department responds to calls including child abuse, accident, makes one arrest

The Chillicothe Police Department has released highlights of recent calls.

Officers took a report at the Chillicothe Police Department in reference to allegations of child abuse that occurred over the past 4 months in the 900 block of Frederick Street in Chillicothe, Missouri. The Investigation continues.

CPD responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident in the 900 block of S. Washington Street. It was reported that a vehicle driven by Elizabeth Beebe was in a northbound lane stopped for traffic and was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Tristan Hudson causing moderate damage. The Hudson vehicle was towed from the scene by Chillicothe Truck Repair and Towing.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Slack Street in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival it was determined to be verbal only in nature.  Both parties agreed to separate for the rest of the evening.  No arrests were made.

The department was dispatched to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to a person caught stealing. Officers arrested Cheyenne Sharp for stealing. Sharp was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and released on Municipal Citations.
