Chillicothe Police Department reports on recent calls

The Chillicothe Police Department has released a report of recent activity, some of which involves arrests, identity theft and an accident.

Officers were dispatched to a report of identity theft in the 900 block of Broadway. The incident remains under investigation.

A traffic enforcement stop on US 36 Hwy near Route CC caused the arrest of Nicolas Sallio, a resident of Canada, for excessive speed, no driver’s license, possession of less than 35 grams of Marijuana and paraphernalia.

Sallio was transported to the Police Department where he was processed, then transported to the Livingston County court house where he entered a guilty plea to the charges, paid fine and was released.

Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing at a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers arrested Haley M. Sears for stealing. Sears was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and released on a municipal citation.

Randy L. Schneider was arrested in the 100 block of Washington Street for driving while revoked. Schneider was transported to the police department where he was processed, then released on a municipal citation.

Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of US 65 and US 36 Highway.

A vehicle driven by Larry Marrs was on the westbound off ramp of US 36 and had stopped for the stop sign at US 65, when he was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Dallas Stacy causing minor damage.

Stacy was issued a municipal citation for following too close resulting in an accident. 

CPD officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1200 block of Walnut Street where they arrested Wendell Morris Lee Bobert for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Bobert was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.
