Chillicothe Police Department has busy week, responds to a myriad of calls

From vehicle accidents to fights, the Chillicothe Police Department has had a very busy week.

Officers responded to a fight in progress in the 200 block of East Jackson Street. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Andrew Cairns and Matthew Cairns for peace disturbance. Both were processed at the police department, cited, and released.

 Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident in a private parking lot in the 400 block of Park Lane.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Joseph Martin was backing from a parking stall and struck a parked motor vehicle.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Borden Street regarding a dog at large. The owner of the dog was contacted, retrieved the dog, and was cited for allowing the dog to run at large.

Officers arrested William Ross driving while revoked, failing to register a motor vehicle, no insurance, no seatbelt, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.   Ross was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically near Park Lane and Rosebud Lane. Officers located the vehicle and subsequently arrested Scott White for felony driving while revoked and felony driving while intoxicated. White was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.

Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Callie Bates for stealing.   Bates was processed at the police department, cited, and released.

Officers cited Dan Hind for allowing his dog to run at large in the 1500 block of Webster Street

Officers arrested Katelan Chase in the 600 block of Walnut Street on a Livingston County Probation violation Warrant on an original charge of felony theft. Chase was transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional on the no bond warrant.

Officers responded to the 800 block of West Business 36 to a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers reported the incident to be verbal in nature.   Both parties were separated and advised of the Missouri Adult Abuse Law.

Officers arrested Jason Petree in the 10 block of South Washington Street on a State of Missouri Probation Warrant. Petree was transferred to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department custody.

Officers arrested Rena Boley in the 400 block of Calhoun Street on a Livingston County Warrant for 1st degree involuntary manslaughter. The warrant was issued relating to a death investigation conducted by the Chillicothe Police Department and the Livingston County Coroner’s Office on 04/16/2016 in the 1900 block of Polk Street. Boley was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Webster Street.   Officers reported the incident to be verbal in nature, parties were separated, and advised of the Missouri Adult Abuse Law.

Officers responded to a one vehicle non-injury accident on private property in the 400 block of Park Lane.   Officers reported a vehicle driven by Candice Hair was attempting to pull into a parking stall when she pushed the gas instead of the brakes and struck a building. Minor damage was reported to the vehicle and the building.
