Chillicothe Police Department: Accidents, domestic disturbance and an arrest

In the latest news from the Chillicothe Police Department, officers were dispatched on calls involving accidents, a domestic disturbance and an arrest.

Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Washington and Green Street.

It was reported that a vehicle driven by Harry G. Hager was eastbound on Green, preparing to turn north onto Washington Street. Hager pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Theresia T. Haag. There was extensive damage to both vehicles and both were towed by Chillicothe Truck Repair and Towing.

Hager was issued a Municipal Citation for fail to yield the right of way.

Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Mansur Street. The incident was found to be verbal and no arrests were made.

The CPD arrested Anthony Brown in the 200 block of Herriman Street on a Livingston County Warrant for a Parole violation on an original charge of manufacturing a controlled substance. Brown was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Vine Street. The incident was found to be verbal and no arrests were made.

A two vehicle accident was reported on Snow Street. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a school bus driven by Larry Jones was backing from an alley, striking a vehicle driven by Jeralyn Long that was westbound on Snow Street.

Minor damage was reported to the vehicles and there were no injuries.
