Chillicothe Police officers arrested a man on an active Livingston County arrest warrant for first-degree child molestation on Friday.
The police department reports officers arrested Charles Theodore Moore in the 600 block of Walnut Street in Chillicothe. He was processed at the Chillicothe Police Department before being transferred to the Daviess-Dekalb County Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
Moore’s bond is $25,000 cash only.
In another reported incident, two small children were brought into the Chillicothe Police Department Saturday.
The police department reports their mother called 911 about her children missing from the 400 block of Vine Street in Chillicothe. She was advised the children were safe at the police department.
An older juvenile sibling had watched the children and left the residence before being located.
The Chillicothe Police Department reports the incident will be forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office and Children’s Division.
