Chillicothe Police arrest 2 in connection with attempted burglary/robbery that took place Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department has announced the arrest of two individuals associated with an alleged attempted robbery and residential burglary on Tuesday, April 12th.

On Wednesday, April 13, Chillicothe Police Department officers responded to a theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street. While investigating that theft, officers broadened their investigation, and were able to make an arrest of two individuals in an attempted robbery and burglary that took place the day before in the 1500 block of Bryan Street.

Forty year old Christopher Campbell of Hale, Missouri, was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery, and, twenty year old William Burfield-Farly, also of Hale, was arrested on a charge of attempted robbery.

In a statement released by the department, the CPD expressed thanks.


We want the citizens of Chillicothe to know that the Chillicothe Police Department takes these incidents seriously, and act swiftly when a member of our community is put in harm. We would like to thank all the citizens of Chillicothe, Wal-Mart Asset Protection, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance during this investigation.
