Chillicothe Mayor Chuck Haney will host a coffee and public meeting next Wednesday May 18th at the Rotary Club shelter house in Simpson Park of Chillicothe. It will begin at 10 o’clock that morning.
Guest speakers will be Parks and Recreation Director Josh Norris and General Manager of Green Hill Golf Course Craig Sager.
City Administrator Ike Holland and Mayor Chuck Haney also will be present.
Norris will speak on current park projects, including some already completed; others planned for this summer at Danner Park and Shaffer Park.
Sager will address recent improvements to the golf course as well as new equipment recently purchased; an upcoming new major golf tournament coming to Chillicothe; as well league golf.
Refreshments will be provided. If weather interferes the program May 18th, it will be moved to the Green Hills Golf Course clubhouse at Chillicothe.
