The Chillicothe police department is reporting the arrest of a Chillicothe man who was jailed Wednesday morning, March 30, for domestic assault.
The CPD reports officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Broadway in reference to a disturbance that occurred Tuesday night. Samuel W. Buckley Jr. was taken into custody and transported to the police department.
After processing, Buckley was transferred to the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail to await charges.
In another dispatch, at approximately 02:45am, Wednesday, March 30, CPD Officers were dispatched to a commercial burglary alarm in the 400 block of Park Lane.
Officers reported that the building was searched after a call out representative arrived and it was found to be a false alarm.
