A Chillicothe man was taken to the hospital following an accident Tuesday afternoon ten miles west of Chillicothe.
The highway patrol listed injuries as serious for 30-year-old Danny Bullock of Chillicothe. An ambulance transported him to Hedrick Medical Center.
Bullock was eastbound on Highway 36 when he attempted to overtake a tractor-trailer that was slowing to turn north, Bullock’s car struck the trailer of the big rig. The truck driver, 67-year-old Lonnie Sewell of Mooresville, was not reported hurt.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The car was demolished and the tractor-trailer truck had moderate damage.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene of the crash.
