Governor Eric Greitens recently honored a Chillicothe fire investigator as an Outstanding State Employee.

Adam Crouch was honored with 37 other state employees at an event at the Governor’s Mansion. The event honored those who received recognition as a State Employee of the Month in the past two years.

The Department of Public Safety named Crouch as the State Employee of the Month in December 2017. He has been recognized by the state for his personal contribution to his work and to the State of Missouri.

A news release from State Representative Rusty Black’s Office states that his investigative work and determination have made him an asset to the Department of Public Safety.

Crouch is also involved in his community as an event organizer to raise money for the YMCA’s Backpack Buddies program, which benefits lunch programs for school children.

State departments nominate State Employees of the Month, and a selection committee subsequently chooses the recipients. The recipients are chosen for their willingness to excel in their work and to go beyond their normal duties for their communities and state.
