A Chillicothe resident was fatally injured when the 1958 model farm tractor he was operating went into a ditch and ran over him after he was thrown from the tractor.
Forty-three-year-old Mark Burton of Chillicothe was pronounced dead late Saturday afternoon at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
The highway patrol reports the accident happened approximately three hours earlier, about ten miles South of Chillicothe off Livingston County Road 451. The tractor was westbound on a private drive, crossed Road 451, and struck the ditch, throwing Burton from the tractor.
Mark Burton is the third traffic fatality this year in Livingston County investigated by the highway patrol.
