Chillicothe Fire Department responds to East 2nd Street

The Chillicothe Fire Department was dispatched to a possible structure fire on East Second Street Friday morning.

Chillicothe Fire Lieutenant Rob Williams reports, upon arrival to the property owned by M and M Utilities, firefighters determined a large pile of dimensional lumber and refuse piled with a loader was set on fire.

Williams reports Engine 1 used 750 gallons of water to extinguish the fire with the firefighters on the scene for about one hour.
