The Chillicothe Fire Department on Saturday extinguished debris in a 14-foot trailer at 1301 Monroe Street. The debris half-filled the trailer, which was attached to a vehicle at a construction site.

Firefighters used a hand-line to extinguish the blaze and Assistant Fire Chief Eric Reeter said the blaze was contained to the trailer and with no damage to any other property.

Construction work was being done on a building and personnel said they were eating lunch and noticed smoke coming from the trailer. Reeter said the cause of the fire was undetermined.

Emerald City Construction of Brookfield was listed as the owner with firefighters on the scene approximately 15-minutes.
