The Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Tourism Board will meet on Thursday, Oct. 26, at noon at the Chillicothe City Hall.
Advance agenda topics include setting a date for a board retreat, reviewing a brochure, and discussing the MDT certification process. The director’s report will provide updates on hotels, restaurants, attractions, social media, the website, and visitors.
Other topics on the agenda are motor coaches, the Missouri State High School Activities Association, notifications for mini-grant applications, payments, and sponsorships. Additionally, the meeting will cover the Google workshop for local partners, community events, and an office update, which will include a discussion on an invoice and furnishings. In the realm of public relations, the board plans to review an article about the Festival of Lights.
