The Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce wins top honors in two categories and certificates of merit in two others at a state chamber conference.
Chillicothe won an award of excellence in the member and communication category for the creation of a chamber university program. The program is offered several times a year to Chillicothe chamber members, which total over 280. The program is described as an effective way to reach the members and help them boost their business through the chamber.
The Chillicothe chamber also received an award for excellence in the special publications category for the 2015 publication of the Chillicothe Insider, which is described as a community resource and reference guide used by businesses and residences. The chamber says it partners with several local entities including community press and the Constitution-Tribune to create the publication.
The chamber received certificates of merit for its recently updated website in the electronic communications category, and for the Piccadilly Gala in the programs and campaigns category.
