Chillicothe center readies to start “No Hunger Summer” initiative

The North Missouri Center for Youth and Families, based in Chillicothe, operates on fundraisers, donations, grants, and tax credits.

The “No Hunger Summer” initiative begins on Tuesday, May 31st in Chillicothe.  It is a daily breakfast, starting at 7:30 am and lunch (starting at 11 AM) at 211 Locust Street, which is the address for the North Missouri Center for Youth and Families.  It is free for students of Livingston County, with adults paying $2.00.  All meals and supplies are provided by the Second Harvest Food Bank of St. Joseph.

The day-long summer program of North Missouri Youth and Families begins this Thursday (May 26th) and it IS FULL.

A major fund-raiser for the year is coming up the night of Saturday, June 18th with the 5K Glow Run or Walk and a block party.
