Celebrity lineup announced for Celebrities VS Heroes softball games

The celebrities have been announced for the Celebrities versus Trenton Heroes softball games to be held at Griffin Field in Trenton this weekend with opening ceremonies starting Saturday evening at 6 o’clock with two games to follow.

Celebrity Trenton Fire Chief Brandon Gibler will start the opening ceremonies with a flag presentation. The Trenton Army National Guard has presented the flag every year since the beginning, but they are currently deployed to Kuwait. Trenton Hero Toni Allen will sing the National Anthem.

Celebrity coaches Linda Lynch of Hardees and Aaron Huffstutter of Wright Memorial Physicians Clinic will throw the opening pitches.

Other celebrities include Danny Stevens of Stevens Backhoe, Nicole Neal of Doctor Nick McHargue’s office, former Trenton teacher Murray Dennis, Trenton Police Chief Tommy Wright, Duane Urich of Black Silo Winery, Roberta Sayer of the Galt Cafe, Camp Rainbow Director Daniel Savage, Trenton R-9 teachers Amy Currie and Taron Brewer, Grundy County Commissioner Joe Brinser, Doctor Borhani with the Mosaic Clinic, Diane Lowrey of the Republican Times, North Central Missouri College Women’s Softball Coach Steve Richmond, Grundy County Sheriff Rodney Herring, Rick Alley and Brent Wyant of Barnes-Baker Automotive, bus driver Jennie Hutchinson, Howie Lynch and Jordan Curtis of Trenton Coca-Cola, Trenton Park Superintendent Jason Schuler, Trenton graduate Stacey Clodfelter, and Sarah Kurtz of Trenton R-9 School District.

Celebrity umpires include Lynn McCarter and Derrick Gott of Hometown Realty, Scott Lynch of Orscheln, and Chillicothe Correctional Officer Matt King.

Dave Burkeybile will be the announcer and provide the sound system.

Royals memorabilia donated by Senior Advisor to the Royals General Manager Mike Arbuckle will be auctioned.
