The highway patrol reports a woman from Carrollton was injured yesterday afternoon when her vehicle, attempting to make a turn, was hit by another vehicle.
The accident (at 4:10 pm Wednesday) was in Jackson County.
The state patrol listed injuries as moderate for 57-year-old Cindy Clater of Carrollton and taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital.
The Driver of the other vehicle, 65-year-old Lawrence Stewart of Kansas City, wasn’t hurt.
The accident occurred at the southbound Highway 291 ramp to Highway 210.
Damage was moderate to the Stewart vehicle and minor to the one operated by Ms. Clater. Both drivers were using seat belts.
