A Carrollton resident was fatally injured in a rollover accident on Wednesday morning, February 5, 2020, in rural Carroll County.
Fifty-five-year-old Shawn Cowger was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. The report noted he WAS using a seat belt.
An investigating officer said Cowger was eastbound when he went off the right side of Route J, through a fence, struck a ditch and overturned.
The car was demolished in the 7:30 Wednesday morning accident at Carroll County Routes J and YY.
