A Carrollton man was taken to a hospital after the car he was driving struck a roadway sign and tree, before coming to a stop in a ditch last night.
Fifty-year-old Allan Schoonmaker received minor injuries and was taken by emergency medical services to Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
Schoonmaker was using a seat belt and the westbound car was demolished in the crash on Highway 24 in Carroll County.
