Carrollton man arrested on 6 counts of child molestation

A Carrollton man is in custody on $100,000 cash only bond after being charged with six counts involving a child less than 14 years of age.

Jack Schenk, 63, 1203 Hilltop drive of Carrollton, is charged with one count of statutory sodomy, 1st degree, deviate sexual intercourse with a child less than 14, and 5 counts of child molestation in the first degree.

Online court records indicate the charges range in dates from November of 2014, through December of 2015.

The probable cause statement indicates that two minors, under the age of 12 disclosed multiple occasions in which Schenk touched them inappropriately.

Schenk has requested a public defender, and is scheduled to appear before Judge Kevin Walden on May 18, 2016 at 9 a.m. in Carrollton.
