Carroll County Memorial Hospital honored employees with a special event, highlighting special moments throughout 2019.
“As 2019 has been an outstanding year, it brings me such joy to be able to honor the individuals who made it so special,” said Jeff Tindle, CCMH Chief Executive Officer. “In addition to those who are celebrating special milestones with the CCMH family, our staff choose one individual from a group of twelve fellow co-workers who have demonstrated our core values and excellent customer service, to hold the title of Employee of the Year.”
Lesley Delaney, Samantha Freels, Sarah Lee, Shandi Duff, Meghan Wold, Eric Witt, Jeremy Brammer, Nicole Starkebaum, Jody Foster, Amy Jefferson, Esther Persinger, and Kendall Finley were selected as Employee of the Month over the course of 2019.
Jeremy Brammer was named 2019 CCMH Employee of the Year. Jeremy joined the CCMH team in September 2016 and currently serves as the maintenance technician.
“Jeremy has always gone above and beyond of his duties,” said Marty Rucker, CCMH Director of Construction and Plant Operations. “Jeremy is always courteous, kind, happy, optimistic, polite, and willing to help at any given moment. He has given his time to help out communities sandbagging, helping people move and whatever it takes to help someone in need. Jeremy keeps the hospital safe and looking good all year long no matter the temperature outside. Jeremy also volunteers his time with the hospital activities, any time you need help he is always there to give the extra hand with no complaints and a smile. It is our pleasure to have Jeremy as a part of our family at CCMH.”
CCMH is proud to have three employees, Tammy Crawford, Barbara Hines, and Cindy Kipping, celebrating a milestone of 30 years of dedication to the organization.
“Tammy Crawford’s dedication to CCMH began in the summer of 1989,” said Cindy Gilman, CCMH Chief Nursing Officer. “Throughout her career at CCMH, she has held many titles, from Licensed Practical Nurse, Infection Control Coordinator, Employee Health and Education Coordinator, and Cerner Liaison. Tammy’s true passion is teaching CPR to staff, community members, businesses and schools; a passion she has continued for over 20 years often spending her weekends teaching whenever necessary. Tammy has earned many awards including Nurse of the Year and the Nurses Week ICARE Always Award. ‘We are dedicated to the health and well-being of all we serve’ is not only the CCMH mission but a reflection of Tammy’s 30-year commitment to this organization.”
“Barbara Hines has been a valued asset to CCMH for 30 years,” said Deborah Smith, CCMH Director of Emergency Services. “Starting her career as a staff nurse in Acute Care and ER, she then helped to develop the nursing departments within her role as Assistant Nursing Director. She has had the opportunity to work at other facilities but has always called CCMH home. In her current position in the ER, she is able to provide excellent direct patient care. We are lucky to have such a great resource here at CCMH.”
“Cindy Kipping has dedicated the last 30 years to healthcare in Carrollton,” said Amy Ireland, CCMH Chief Revenue Officer. “She has been a jack-of-all-trades during her years working exclusively with Dr. Ross and his practice, and most recently Patient Access Representative (PAR) Supervisor for all PAR staff throughout the organization. Her compassion for her work, her co-workers and patients is her trademark. It is – and always has been – undeniable that Cindy is very passionate about her work and truly enjoys helping others, engaging with others, and ensuring she goes above and beyond each day.”
