The Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation is honored to accept a donation from the Goppert Foundation in the amount of $125,000.00. This will be paid in five annual installments with the first received by the Foundation on July 13th, 2016.

The Goppert Foundation is a family foundation established in 1959 by the late Clarence H. Goppert, a banker, and philanthropist who believed in giving back to the communities that supported his family’s banking business. The Goppert Foundation has supported many civic groups and projects, health care facilities and educational endeavors for many years.

“Donating to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation for the purpose of scholarships is an investment in the education of our future doctors, nurses, and medical technicians,” said Billy Campbell, President of Goppert Financial Bank and Director for The Goppert Foundation, “We hope these young men and women will complete their medical training and return to the Carroll County area to practice within their fields and become a part of our great community.”

Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Their mission is to provide financial and organizational support that enhances the quality and availability of healthcare services enjoyed by the residents of Carroll County. “On behalf of the foundation, we are so humbled by this wonderful gift,” said Jeff Tindle, CEO, CCMH. “We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Carolyn Lyon who serves on the CCMH Foundation Board and was instrumental in securing this donation.”
