Career Development Events results from Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia

Among results from the first day of career development events at the Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia, Princeton has two teams rank in the top ten; Grundy R-5, Newtown Harris, Milan, and Hamilton each has one.

Princeton’s FFA livestock team captured second place. Individually, Logan Hanson was 4th, Kylie Willett 7th, and Logan Dunkin 9th. The other member of the livestock team is Jaelyn Thomas. Princeton’s horse judging team took fourth place. Individually, Brylee Williams was 7th. Other members of this team are Eli Henke, Lauren Krohn, and Payton Goodin.

The Grundy R-5 school has an FFA team that finished in third place at state. Individually, Emma Baxter was 9th, Kendra Betz 12th, and Anna Milazzo 16th. The other member is Caden Ashford. The Newtown Harris FFA team took fifth place in dairy foods. Individually, Lauren Fordyce was 5th and Amanda Tucker 11th. The other member is Andrew Garcia. Milan had a team take eighth place in FFA knowledge. Members are Kassie Johnson, Zach Banner, Marcos Lopez, and Alexis May. Hamilton FFA had a team take fifth place in nursery-landscape. Members are Kable Milligan, Lyndsey Ernat, Dawson Doak, and Hallie Vanatta.  The Princeton FFA had a team place 13th in soils judging.

Additional career development events are held today during the annual FFA convention.
