Cameron teen arrested on drug charges in Grundy County

An 18-year old Cameron resident, Shawn Ward, has been charged in Grundy County with possessing the controlled substance diazepam as well as unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, both on April 8th.

The second charge accuses ward of possessing a straw and syringes with intent to introduce methamphetamine into the human body.

Ward was being held in the Grundy County Detention Center in lieu of 25-thousand dollars cash only bond.

He is to appear April 26th in associate division of Grundy County Circuit Court.
