A Cameron man and young son were among four persons injured Sunday night in a western Clinton County accident.

The highway patrol listed injuries as serious for Randy Griffith and moderate for two year old Jace Griffith. Driver of their vehicle, 28 year old Katie O’Dell-Steinle of St. Joseph received what the patrol called serious injuries. All were taken to the Mosiac Hospital in St. Joseph.

Driver of a pickup truck, 22 year old Michael Pfeffer of Trimble received what the patrol called minor injuries. He was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The state patrol later arrested Pfeffer accusing him of driving while intoxicated, three counts of second degree vehicle assault while intoxicated; as well as careless and imprudent driving.

The Highway Patrol reports Pfeffer was northbound on U-S 169 when his truck allegedly crossed the center line and there was a head on crash with the oncoming southbound vehicle containing the other three persons.

Both of the vehicles, which rolled over, were demolished in the accident at 9:40 Sunday night one mile north of Grayson, Missouri.
