Calving clinic to be held December 17 near Linneus

University extension holds a calving clinic near Linneus December 17th.

Topics include Fall and Spring calving season economics, signs of Dystocia and when to intervene, nutrition and Winter feeding during calving, and sire and heifer selection.

The calving clinic begins the morning of December 17th at 10:30 at the Forage Systems Research Center near Linneus.

Those pre-registering by December 12th will be charged $20 for adults and $10 for youth ages 18 and under, with the fee at the event $25. Checks should be made payable to Sullivan County University of Missouri extension in Milan.

A lunch is included with the clinic.
