The North Missouri Solid Waste Management District Region B will sponsor a solid waste collection in Caldwell County this weekend.
Caldwell County residents may dispose of special waste items banned from landfills at the Polo City Hall Saturday from 9 o’clock to Noon.
Items to be collected include tires, appliances, electronics, household hazardous waste and chemicals, batteries, cell phones, and ink cartridges.
A fee will be charged for some items.
No business, commercial, toxic, medical, or mixed waste, as well as joint compounds or empty paint cans, will be accepted.
