Cainsville man injured in motorcycle crash west of Cainsville

The operator of a motorcycle was injured last evening at 6:00 pm, in an accident three miles west of Cainsville.

The highway patrol listed injuries as moderate for forty eight year-old Jack Henry of Cainsville. He was taken by private vehicle to the Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.

Henry was eastbound when the motorcycle traveled off the south side of Route N and struck a ditch. The motorcycle came to a stop on its side. It was listed as demolished.

Henry was wearing a safety device.

The highway patrol received assistance from the Harrison county sheriff’s department and Bethany Police.
