Chillicothe’s’ burn ban and the Livingston county burn advisory has been extended until 9 o’clock tonight.
That information came in this morning from the Fire Chief, Darrell Wright.
Continuing with burn bans until further notice are the cities of Trenton and Spickard plus Putnam county.
Rural areas of Grundy County remain under a burn advisory also until further notice.
The bans mean outdoor burning is prohibited or at the very least, highly discouraged.
Rain is in the weather forecast this afternoon and tonight which may provide some relief from the very dry conditions.
A wind advisory also is in effect until tonight for all of the listening area.
