Trenton Fire Chief Brandon Gibler has lifted the burn ban involving the city of Trenton.

The notice from the fire department was made yesterday afternoon after about five hundredths of an inch of rain was received Monday morning.

Meanwhile, the burn ban advisory is continuing for the rest of Grundy County.

The National Weather Service reports an “elevated fire risk” will be prevalent Wednesday with warm temperatures reaching the mid 70’s and stronger winds.
