A Bucklin resident was hurt Saturday evening when the motorcycle he was operating overturned on Highway 11 in eastern Linn County.
Forty-four-year-old Ronald Eakins was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield with moderate injuries.
The accident happened five miles west of New Boston on Highway 11 as the westbound motorcycle ran off the right side of the road at a curve and overturned.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged and Eakins was wearing safety equipment.
